About Walt Hollis

Since stepping into the film industry in 2007, Walt Hollis has had the privilege to work in a variety of roles, both in front of and behind the camera. Over the years, he's been fortunate to take on several acting opportunities that have deepened his love for the craft.

Some of Walt's memorable moments on screen include a brief appearance as the 'Purse Snatcher' in the film "Super" alongside Rainn Wilson, and a role as 'Trooper Lebleiu' in "The Pardon" with Jamie King. These roles provided Walt with invaluable experiences and interactions with seasoned professionals.

Walt has also been part of the ensemble cast in films like Stephen King's "The Mist", where he portrayed a biohazard engineer, and "The Cleaner", where he stood alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris, playing an Off Duty Police Officer. These background roles, while subtle, were also wonderful learning experiences.

On a different note, Walt tried his hand at voice-over work, with one of his contributions surprisingly gaining viral traction on TikTok. It was a delightful surprise and a testament to the exciting nature of the industry.

In 2008, he explored the other side of the lens by co-directing, producing, and acting in a video for the "What Makes Your El Chico Special?" contest. To his astonishment and gratitude, the video was the winner of the national contest.

Journeying through the diverse world of film, Walt remains a student of the art, continuously learning and growing with every role and project he undertakes.
